Tuesday Tips: Influence 101


Here’s a golden nugget of truth from our Digital & Influence team:


“While social media following counts to an extent (it largely depends on the campaign objective), what really matters is the quality of the engagements on your content from your followers.


Whether you have 10k or 100k followers, your follower count doesn’t always mean high engagement, or (more importantly) a high quality of engagements.


What do we mean by quality engagements? There’s a difference between liking a post (a pretty easy action) or “🔥” as a comment on a product you’re promoting versus a meaningful comment that says “I didn’t know that about this product, I think I’ll try it out” and/or a post save which showcases intentional engagement and potential action from the person in your comments section.


Quality > quantity is the key takeaway here.
