A few golden ⭐️ nuggets to take away from working on influencer campaigns from our TE intern, Ayola


"Having the experience of working on different influencers with different brands, I’d like to share some tips/advice that I’ve learnt:

  1. When vetting/scoping for influencers, you don’t always have to go for the big guns. Trust your instinct with the micro/nano influencers that *you* have been following for months/years. If you believe that they would be suitable for a specific campaign, vouch for them.

  2. People that have a smaller following and that don’t necessarily have a career in just “content creation” but do have influence on others tend to have more engaging audiences. Work with them

  3. Don’t just always look at influencers as “databases” - they need to be relatable and need to complement the proposed brand’s values and goals.


But all in all, it’s about trust, creativity, collaboration & alignment."
