"When it comes to influencers, content and partnership are what makes or breaks a campaign. Consumers/audiences are smart - they can tell when a brand is jumping onto the hype of influencers because they're the new hot thing or when an influencer is doing a campaign just for the money," says our Owned and Earned AM, Wilmarie.


There are two things that I firmly stand by and won't negotiate on when it comes to creating impactful influencer campaigns:

1. 👂 Listen to the influencer - they know their audience best and know what content will perform best based on your objectives.

2. ⏰ Take time to research - while influencer platforms are great in scaling down influencer selection for a campaign, the search doesn't and shouldn't end there. Sift through their content on various platforms to get a real idea of who they are behind the numbers and stats before you decide that you want to use them for your campaign.
